Back in November, about 1,300 people attended Focus on the Family's Wait No More conference in Colorado Springs, Colorado. One of the results of that conference was approximately 250 families beginning the adoption process. The waiting list for children to be adopted in Colorado Springs is now reduced by over 300 children. Read all about it here.
President Obama has finally chosen someone for an appointment that is getting some cheers from cultural conservatives. Family advocates are mostly happy with his choice of Dr. Francis Collins to head the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Collins is not without controversy. After Michael Jackson died, I blogged about a report that MJ had accepted Christ as Savior with Andre Crouch and his sister Sandra. That link to the report on the Mary Mary blogspot page has since been removed. Andre Crouch said the report is erroneous. Read Rev.
