Presto 2.1.1 Web standards support

, ,

Thanks to Frank Palinkas, a technical writer here at Opera Software, Web standards support in Presto 2.1.1 is now documented: Web specifications supported in Opera Presto 2.1.1. Presto 2.1.1 corresponds to Opera 9.6 for the Desktop. We hope this is of use to you!

"Presto 2.1.1 correspondents to Opera 9.6 for the Desktop."
You mean:
"Presto 2.1.1 corresponds to Opera 9.6 for the Desktop."

Nice to see this blog was not completely forgotten. Glad to see you strayed from the semiannual posting schedule as well. We would love to hear a lot more about the core developments and things coming down the pike.

Well as the devoted fan, I will take one for the team and sacrifice my time to blog for you guys. All I need is a jira login and some invites tot he appropriate meetings. I know. I know. I'm the most selfless and modest person you've ever come across. I get that all the time.

I don't think so, no. Whatever gave you that idea?

Thanks for the kind words, Anne!

For everyone's guide, the "Web specifications supported in Opera Presto 2.1.1" has been updated to include a new sub section on HTML 5 Forms, under the HTML and XHTML main topic. A support table can be reached from a hyperlink in the content, or on in the menu on the right side of the page.

@haavard
I mean Opera Core in UA String and of course now i know why O.M 4.2 is 'assembler'.

Haavardhaavard Thursday, March 26, 2009 2:31:49 PM

SAGRID: What about the core UA string?

And what do you mean by "assembler"?
