What is MIRAVI?

MIRAVI stands for MERIS Images RApid VIsualization and it's a data-driven system for real time image rendering and quality analysis.

Those images, though fascinating, are not suitable for scientific use. Scientists usually prefer to work with MERIS data products, which fully exploit the 15 spectral bands of the instrument, and which are generated with sophisticated algorithms.

Micropolis, lose your landmarks

By plunging the spectator into the heart of the natural environment and making him lose his customary landmarks, the scenographers have made a clever break in the scale and visitors progressively take the place of an insect and become themselves actors in the scene.

By emphasising the double "child" and "adult" legibility, the symbiosis is perfect between the presentation of living creatures, the physical sensations of the environment and its discovery by an enjoyable learning curve articulated around the latest technology.

Because the originality of the concept initiated by Micropolis is also indebted to the spirit and quality of its museography. The scale, materials, sounds and smells all unite to upset the visitor's senses and make this magical place a special meeting place between two complementary universes.
