My Living Nightmare

I seen 2 of my children last week. My younger brother is in the hospital and not doing real well. So I went up to see him with our parents. My father rented me a car so that I could return home to work. So I took advantage of that and came home the way I knew, and that was driving within 20 miles of my children.

During my hour visit, my daughter told me some very troubling things. From her grandparents favor the other grandkids over them, and how they are treated so different. When they talk to me, their sister or their other grandparents, they are told not to say a word about what goes on up there. It is not our business. I don't like that. I have done my best to teach my children not to keep secrets that can hurt. But what can I do? I have no real proof. I was not allowed to go to the home that I had visited so many times over the past 15 yrs. It was so sad. Both my children look so sad. They don't have the same life in their eyes. And my daughter told me she would rather be in the group home. That anything would be better then where she is at now. It breaks my heart to know that there is not a thing I can do. All I can do is sit here and write.
