Say what you like about Ask Jeeves, but I do quite like a company that responds to a customer query with a quick fix.

Tubelord are excellent. They have a new single and a new album. The single 'Propeller' is available on 7" single and limited to 500 copies. Each individual copy has totally unique artwork - check out the promo video.
Their album is called 'Our First American Friends' and is available on CD and 12" Vinyl. You can probably download it from somewhere too - but I suggest buying the vinyl - they're always worth more in the long run, especially when they're limited to 500 copies.
There is a "Golden Ticket" competition running in initial pressings of the album, which will give 10 lucky ticket finders free entry to any Tubelord gig for life!
Both the single and the album are available at Banquet Records. If you don't buy either of these, you are quite the fool.

This is what I've been working on for the last few months, I think it's the biggest project I've done so far. 16 Redesigns of famous Masters of the Universe-characters!
I imagined them somewhere in the indie/hipster/fashion-scene, as if they were doing a photoshooting for some magazine. They were hand-drawn on A3, and I plan to print them on fluorescent or glow in the dark paper.
So sick. More on Behance.

My friend Emily Walker now has a tumblr blog - you should follow her. Other people you should follow are Chris Dowling, Emily Grundon and Marylyn Peden. All these people are wonderful.
Tumblr is cool. Take note, Opera Community.

After all this we were getting a bit hungry, and so, after another game of pool in the pub we made our way to a restaurant called The Olive Branch. The food was really good, but something must not have agreed with me because once we'd eaten, hired some DVDs and made our way back to Jas' hometown on the bus, I threw up down somebody's garden path. Disgusting, but true. Embarrassing, but also quite funny.
Jas' house is amazing - I really like it - and once we were inside and settled, she showed me her ferret, her cat (which someone, possibly one of the neighbours, has given an unwanted haircut?), her kitten and the attic - which is where I was staying. And we all sat in the lounge and started to watch movies. I say started because I was so tired that I fell asleep during American Splendor and consequently stumbled upstairs to bed earlier than intended.
In the morning I awoke to the sound of everyone getting ready to go to the local car boot sale. It's been years since I went to a proper car boot sale like this, and was pretty stoked to find out we were going to one. After wandering round for a while, I bought a new (old) camera, a classy Roberts radio and an old OXO cube tin to go alongside the beautiful mirror, set of brass birds and a leopard-based broach that Jas bought.
Come the afternoon, Ira had gone home and the rest of Jas' family and I went for a roast dinner at a nearby pub. It was really good and settled my stomach from the night before. I was rude and forgot to thank her / them for paying for the roast once we'd finished, after which we headed back into Abers and Jas and I passed the time away until I had to catch the train by lying on the beach drawing animals on stones.
I loved spending time with Jas - she's wonderful - and it was good to meet her family and Ira. Also, it was great to be in Abers for such a sunny weekend. I was initially quite nervous about making the trip, but was really glad I did. I had a fun time, everyone was lovely and I have a few more good friends thanks to the Internet and Opera Community.
Ends.

Jean Dorothy Seberg (November 13, 1938 – August 30, 1979) was an American actress. She starred in 37 films in Hollywood and in France. Seberg became even more of an icon after her roles in numerous French films and the tragedy of her turbulent life and eventual probable suicide. Tags: jean seberg ac ...
