Do You Wengo?

Because I'm a big geek, today I was looking for open-source alternates to commercial programs. This was partly because I wanted an application (other than Pidgin) that would allow me to use MSN, Yahoo! and AOL Instant Messenger simultaneously.
This is where I stumbled across a program called WengoPhone. It's an 'alternative' to popular VoiP client Skype, but also allows you to add your MSN, Yahoo!, AIM (and other) accounts to the contact list. Perfect - just what I was after.
I do have a Skype account, but aside from Ramunas and teaeff, I don't know anyone else who uses it - especially for voice conversation. But, I am quite interested in using such a service to replace my house phone, so will be further looking into how good / reliable Wengo actually is.
In the meantime, though, I encourage you to download WengoPhone and give it a try. For those dirty people that use Firefox, there is a Wengo Extension too. Let me know your username, and I'll add you as a friend.
Update: 07-AUG-2007 I posted a follow-up which gives more insight into what the software's like. You can find it here: http://my.opera.com/coxy/blog/2007/08/07/do-you-wengo-2

The big bug bear for me with all clients that connect to other networks, is that the audio and video connections aren't there. I have a mic and cam....typing is too much hard work!

It's a shame, looks like wengophone went tits up. Calls only last 30 seconds and I can find no way to get my 10 bucks back from the French Bastards that made the thang.
