My First Video

, , , ...

Well, the other day I bought a camcorder. Its a nice pretty Sony one that does good things. The first video that I happened to record on it was the cat. Okay, not the most exciting of things; and there's a million and one cat videos on the net already, but here it is regardless:

Vikki recorded one this afternoon which will be watchable on YouTube soon.

I will be taking my camera down to Virgin Megastores tomorrow because Richard Branson is there with New Order - and more importantly, there'll be a demonstration of the Nintendo Wii. Hurrah!

No doubt I'll be posting the results of the event online for everyone to see.

Change Of Pace And Face

, , , ...

Okay, so this post is going to be a little bit different to the usual layout, hence the change of pace in the title. Change of face is because I'm feeling a little blue. This week things have been pretty cool, but today I'm feeling down. Maybe it's that time of the month.

Anyway, chin up and march on. Last night I went to the cinema with my mates Hassan, Hocine and Allen. Its cool seeing these guys, and its always a laugh. We went and got KFC, and then went and seen Just Friends. I didn't even know what it was about when I agreed to go and see it, but when I got round to Hassan and Hocine's, they shown me the trailer.

The film was actually brilliant, even though I wasn't quite expecting it to be. Ryan Reynolds was a brilliant casting choice for this, and Amy Smart - wow, is she good looking, or what?!?

Tonight, I'm sat at home. I grabbed something to eat when I got into work, and I've gotten straight into bed with my cat to keep me company. I wanted some Ben & Jerrys too, but we dont have any in the house.

Anyway, I've been watching Ideal. In case you're new to the programme, here's all you need to know about the murky, far from ideal world of Ideal...

Johnny Vegas plays Moz, a small-time hash dealer who lives in a run-down flat in Manchester with his girlfriend Nicki. Moz is one of life's under-achievers, and quite happy with it, but Nicki has aspirations for a better life... even if that means finding it in the arms of another man.

The series takes place entirely in Moz’s flat. Because of his chosen ‘profession’, a colourful array of customers/social misfits pass through on a daily basis.

The few people who I know who have seen the show have thought it was crap - but I love it. I think they did a Christmas special this year. See, it's only ran for one series so far, which I have and you can buy on DVD - but hopefully it will be back for another.

So, since that's nearly over, I've got The Interpreter on DVD too. That film starring Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn. I might watch that.

You know, this post has taken me a good hour or so to write with not knowing what to write, and watching Ideal and all. In that time, though, I have had a phonecall off Amanda and we chatted, which cheered me up no end!

Cheerio!
