I love days like today. Days where there's a really good atmosphere - the season is autumn, the leaves are falling, the sun is shining, there is no breeze but a chill to the air, a bonfire has been lit on the allotments across the way and the road is a mist of sweet smelling smoke. The day would be perfect for going out for a walk and taking some excellent photos...

Only I'm stuck inside; ill for the fourth day on the run, coughing up my insides, feeling slightly dizzy when I stand and having to tend to a cat that's not mine. The cat has decided that last night was a good night to throw up the contents of it's stomach from both sides of it's body across the floor of the lounge. Gross.

Usually I'd have to clean up this mess first thing in the morning in the hour I use to get ready for work, rush off to town, work, and then come back to do pretty much the same - get some food in myself, the cats, clean and sleep. I live alone - it is surprisingly hard to keep a three-bedroom house clean on your own when you have three cats that don't get along.
