Ask Jeeves UK (Screenshot) - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Competition Congratulations Screen

Oh-my, this weekend is turning out to be a 'general knowledge' frenzy as I've found myself taking part in quiz shows galore!

I've never had the desire to be on a quiz show, and I'm generally not excited by the thought of a pub quiz, but last night I rushed home from work to play 1 vs 100 Live on the Xbox 360 - and this morning I persisted through to completion the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire quiz on Ask Jeeves UK.

The question now is, will I make the Ask Jeeves Millionaire Quiz Leaderboard next Saturday?

I tried checking the Norwegian Ask page: http://no.ask.com

Isn't the Norwegian version of every American web product utter rubbish though?

Well, it depends. Large brands such as Google, MSN and now Bing are not more rubbish than their originally inherited pages, although I like to think of at least MSN as total rubbish nonetheless.

MSN is BIng

Should ask Jeeves be renamed Ask Coxy?

I think you are running Linux, and I see you are using the Opera 10 beta

MSN is the news portal, while Bing is the search engine. Quite a difference. smile

I have been using Ask.com as my primary search engine for over 10 months. I never even knew they had a Norwegian version! That is regional marketing fail.

Is Jeeves just a ‘UK thing’ for Ask.com?

I think Jeeves is in the US also, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire quiz takes me to the UK version

danaleks As far as I'm aware (and the Internets suggests the same), Jeeves is only for UK punters - as will the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire Quiz.

I don't have a problem with Ask's search service - in fact, I quite like it.
