Why I choose the Opera browser
one of my lecturers introduced me to opera back in 2000. can't remember the version though, 3.x, i think. address bar at the bottom and everything.
it took me a while before i had internet myself but i quickly came back to opera, despite everybody raving about netscape then and firefox nowadays.
i just like how you can choose your starting settings, save sessions, start where you left the last time, re-open windows closed by accident and the built in email functions.
just wonderful i feel is the level of customisation possible. especially the searches drop-down box :P
also just love the fact that you can page back (the content you entered into a text box is still there!) and forward a lot more comfortably than with any other browser i have tried (and there's about 12 installed on my machine right now) and that even after re-opening the browser! great when the machine crashes yet again and you can continue right where you were... :)
then you get people complaining about ads and popups and i wonder what they are talking about... although web developers are becoming more and more clever including their :irked: popups now when you try and follow a link that you DO want to see.
have tried many a browser and would not change.
