About me

Webmasters and content providers began enhancing sites for search engines like yahoo in the mid-1990s, as the very first search engines were cataloging the first Web. Initially, all webmasters needed to do was to submit the actual address of a web page, or URL, on the various engines which may send a "spider" to be able to "crawl" that page, acquire links to other internet pages from it, and give back information found on the page to be indexed. The procedure involves a search engine crawl downloading a page along with storing it for the search engine's own server, where a second program, known as an indexer, concentrated amounts various information about your page, such as the phrases it contains and where they're located, as well as any weight for specific words and phrases, and all links the particular page contains, that are then placed into any scheduler for crawling at a later time.
