Update

I see I haven't updated this for some time.
Could be because I've been using Firefox, Mozilla, IE shells for a while and forgot.
Anyway, I'm back to using Opera and thought I would update.
I like to try out, test, tweak, whatever, new and different browser's.
To see what they will and won't do.
Opera won't display ALL web pages the way it should, but then again, some of the IE shells
won't either and especially Firefox, Mozilla, that is, Gecko based browser's.
After testing out different programs I decided to go with what I like, not with what displays
pages better.
The internet is too large to worry about a small percentage points of sites that don't display.
I must admit, the version 8.5 has much more of it's act together than previous versions.
Work's much better, in most ways.
ADBLOCKING:
Firefox has the best ad blocking extension of any browser. It simply work's the best and easiest.
The catch is, and there is always a catch. You can't turn it off and on quickly and easily.
There are time's when you actually want to see some ad's. It's an easy and quick way to stay
up on what's new.
With Opera, I use a 'adblocker.css' file that can quickly be toggled on and off using a toolbar icon. Handy option at time's.
Firefox also has a flash blocking extension to block flash files till you want to see them.
I like the option myself of simply unchecking a toolbar box to turn all flash off or on, as needed.
Keep's me from having ugly blank flash box's showing up.
I also put an icon in my toolbar labeled "InIE" that if clicked on, the site load's in IE. For those rare times you need to see a site that is IE only.
I also modified my right click pop up menu to include the "open in IE" command.
BUTTONS:
Some people are not aware that you can quickly and easily add your own icons to the toolbars
to have some of your favorite functions handy.
You can find more info and a large number of ready made buttons at...

And if you don't see what you like or want at that site, then by gosh, go here...

and easily make up your own custom made one's.
That's all for now.
