Irritation

Here's something that irritates me.

Firefox: It has tab's, it has extensions, it's fast, etc...but, can it display all web pages?
No.

To me, a browser's first, and foremost function, is to display web pages.
Every thing beyond that is extra.

If it can't display all web pages, then what good is all the extra feature's?

Sorry to say, Opera fall's into that catagorie also. Has a bunch of wonderful features, but.

If your wondering, what pages, I'm talking IE only type stuff, MSNBC video, Reuter's video, pages like that. I'm into watching media and there are a number of news site's with videos that
just won't work in anything but IE.

To me, when I hear "oh boy, a new feature has just been added to the latest version" it makes
me wonder first, "hmmm, will it display pages it couldn't before"?

and usually, no, it can't.

Why don't Firefox and Opera do one thing first, have the web page browser display web pages
first, then, when that's done, add features. Instead of just adding features.

There, my little irritation has been duly noted.
