kestrel and plug-ins

Kestrel is finally out!
Among the many new features, there are huge improvements to plug-ins on UNIX: we implemented the GTK main loop, which will allow GTK-based plug-ins to work - like the new Flash 9 Beta 2, mplayerplug-in, and many more! No need anymore to recompile mplayerplug-in again, you should now be able to just use the one that comes with your distro.
There'll be more details following, but in the meantime feel free to give it a try - go download Kestrel!

Overall it is a very welcome sight to see this much attention devoted to the Unix branch lately.

As for the Qt4 integration - try using the Qt4 build with the -style argument and the Qt skin:
is what you'd really like - but did I mention that this is still buggy...

Were there attempts to use kestrel with gnash? Any success?
Also, do you know why there is no Sparc Solaris build of Kestrel first alpha?
Thanks.

Thanks for explanations: I hope those issues with Sparc Solaris are not major
It would be nice if gnash worked with opera, i know that gnash itself is very incomplete, but Adobe's flash plugin is very bad, at least on unix systems.
