a penguin on the slug

Inspired by Toman's experiment I finally decided to give the Linksys NSLU2 a shot as well.
It's been a while I have been looking for a silent computer, and have been toying with the idea of an Intel Mac Mini (obviously running Linux!) - but results still seem to be a bit too uncertain for the money involved. While waiting for Linux on the Intel Mac Mini to stabilize, the NSLU2 is worth an experiment.
There are various projects around the NSLU2: as a first approach the Unslung seems the easiest solution, and that is what I first tried now. But other approaches are available, and seem to offer more flexibility. Given that I have already started building a package I was missing in the Unslung feeds, and I'd love to get some more stuff working, I might as well try something else in the future.
In the meantime, the penguin on the slug is happy.
