Ocean's Twenty Three

I just finished Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve, in all they are Ocean’s Twenty Three.
These two are both interesting movies. Some movie critics said that Ocean’s Eleven is better than Ocean’s Twelve, maybe it’s a universal truth that all the continuations of a good movie are crap comparing with the first one.

To me, I do prefer Ocean’s Eleven to the Twelve. The first one is much more interesting and attractive to watch, which started with George Clooney’s charming smile. Once you started watching it, you wouldn’t want to stop till you taste to the last scene. At the end, the story ended in dazzle golden light, with Debussy’s Claire De Lune, here the movie came to a perfect end. The fountain is a very good full stop of the movie. The whole movie is a whole smooth continuous story, things are arranged just fine in it, all the details didn’t disturb the theme and didn’t distract the audience’s attention from the major clue. Once you started watching it, you couldn’t stop, as it’s a whole that you need to finish in one time or you will stick with thinking it.

How about Ocean’s Twelve? Well, honestly, I needed to finish the movie in three times. First time I watched it for half an hour, second time the coming fifteen minutes, finally tonight, one hour and a quarter, and finally I finished it. The very first part of the movie is quite boring; I didn’t see where would the theme be gone or where is the story heading us. At about a quarter to an hour, the movie got interesting. Still, no matter interesting it is, the second one is just not brilliant enough compare with the first one. Ocean’s Twelve is like a cut and paste of some different scenes, the smoothness of Ocean’s Eleven is missing in it.

However, Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve are still worth watching just because the alluring smile of George Clooney and Brad Pitt.
