Name that Fly

I have taken lots of macros of flies before but this one has the most monstrous face I have ever seen.
It looks like his whole head is a mouth. It is bigger than a house fly but smaller than a Horse Fly.
Most flies have those long sucker type mouths.
After seeing the close up, I knocked him out and flushed him.
