Woman Attacks Sex Offender: 'I Would Do It Again'

, ,

A woman who police said assaulted a sex offender with a baseball bat said," I'd do it again if I had to," reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.
After learning that her Puyallup neighbor, 24-year-old William Baldwin, was a convicted level 3 sex offender from a flyer she received from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, Tammy Gibson said, "I lost my mind."
"She grabbed a bat, picked it up and started beating the crap out of me. She started beating me the way a man would with a bat", said Baldwin of the incident. "I've never even seen her before and she just comes over and accuses me of molesting her children and attacks me with a bat."

Gibson said she once told her live-in boyfriend she thought Baldwin was harmless, but said all that changed when she got the flyer that listed Baldwin's conviction on two counts of first-degree child molestation in 1999 as well as other offenses.
"Last year, on the Fourth of July, he was talking to my daughter. I got the flyer in the mail and I snapped. I went nuts," Gibson told McCarty.
The flyer states that Baldwin lured a 5-year-old girl into a doghouse in his backyard and sexually assaulted her. That crime was committed while he was on parole for another sexual assault in which he forced a different 5- year-old girl into a sex act with him.
Baldwin, who is currently in the Pierce County Jail, said he had to be escorted by Pierce County Corrections Officers for protection once the news of his alleged assault and sex offender status was broadcast by KIRO 7.
Gibson was arrested and charged with second-degree assault and felony harassment. She was arraigned Wednesday and pleaded not guilty.
Gibson, meanwhile, is being held on $15,000 bail. Her friends, who view her as a hero, are working to raise $1,500 to post bond.
Way to go, Mom!

Police kill man who stomped toddler to death

,

Story here.
Stanislaus County -- A 27-year-old grocery store worker who police say punched and kicked his 2-year-old son to death on a country road calmly told motorists who stopped at the scene that he had to "get the demons" out of the boy, two witnesses said Monday.
The boy was beaten so savagely that DNA tests will be needed to confirm his identity.
The crime shocked this agricultural community and stunned those who knew Aguiar and his wife, Frances, who had recently separated from her husband. She was in Southern California when her son was killed.
When a Modesto police officer jumped off a helicopter before it touched down and ordered Aguiar to stop at gunpoint, he just flipped the officer off and continued his attack.
Officer Jerry Ramar, standing in a cow pasture behind an electric fence, shot Aguiar once in the forehead, the witnesses and police said. Aguiar died at the scene.
Good shot!

7-Year-Old's Life of "Systemic Torture"

,

The last hours of Nixzmary Brown, who was starved, abused, tortured, and beaten to death at the hands of her parents during her seven years of life, included her stepfather Cesar Rodriguez holding her head under water and beating her, also hitting her head against the bathtub faucet, while she called out for her mother, Nixzaliz Santiago, who never came. Rodriguez and Santiago pleaded not guilty to murder and abuse charges.

More parents driven to the limits by a monster child that wouldn't mind. She would STEAL food! She was always trying to escape. No wonder they had to keep her locked in her room with a little box for a restroom.
When will stressed, over worked, poor parents see some relief from government services for such abusive children?

Can you believe his lawyer actually had the balls to offer this defense????!!!!!
Oh... she also would be mean to her brothers and sisters. That could do it.

Abolish capitol punishment or not?

Monsters Arrested for Torturing 5 Year Old Child.

,

LOS ANGELES -- A mom and her live-in girlfriend suspected of torturing the mom's 5-year-old son were in custody today, and the child remained in critical condition at a hospital, police said.
Starkeisha Brown, 24, who was already on parole, and Krystal Matthews, 21, allegedly beat Brown's son repeatedly, burned his genitals and other parts of his body with cigarettes and left him to sit in his own urine, said Los Angeles Police Department First Assistant Chief James McDonnell.
The case first came to the attention of law enforcement Monday when the family was called in for a DCS appointment, police said.
During the appointment, Brown and Matthews brought a healthy child of a mutual friend and tried to pass off that child as Brown's son. At the same time as the DCS appointment, a stranger found the boy abandoned and notified authorities.

The child had an exposed nerve from a tooth that had been knocked out. Can you imagine how much pain?
His little hands are so scared from having them placed on a stove burner that he can not open them.
His lips are deformed and swollen.
He has burns all over his body and genitals.

These two need to be put in detention where they can find God, be rehabilitated, and become productive members of society. Isn't it a good thing we found them so they can be saved?

Or send them to Saudi where they would get the same treatment.

MySpace now removing sex offenders

, ,

Recently, the popular social networking Web site MySpace.com created a database as a means to identify and remove registered sex offenders from its online community. Officials with the online site have also agreed to share sex offender data — how many registered sex offenders are using the site and where they live — with attorneys general from eight states, according to The Associated Press.
MySpace general counsel Mike Angus announced that the site has already used the database to remove about 7,000 profiles out of a total of about 180 million, according to the AP.
Federal privacy laws require states to file subpoenas or other legal requests before MySpace can release the information.
Sgt. Mike McGuffey, an investigator at the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office who primarily handles the local sex offender list, is pleased that MySpace has started to share information with law enforcement.
“Predators should have absolutely zero access to places where children congregate, whether that be in public places or on the Internet,” said McGuffey.
McGuffey has been receiving increasingly more reports of incidents that occur online. He admits to using MySpace as “a resource” in solving crimes, although this new resource sometimes complicates the process.
While McGuffey feels the progress being made with MySpace has the potential of making the Web site a slightly safer place for young people to investigate, he points out that technology continues to evolve and predators will invent new ways of targeting the public. Safety against online predators starts in the home, according to the investigator.
“Ultimately, it ought to be up to the parents — it’s their responsibility to take care of their children,” said McGuffey. “Parents should be more involved in their children’s lives than in anything else. They need to set rules and enforce punishment when those rules are broken.”

MySpace.com prank results in arrest

, ,

A group of boys who posed as a 15-year-old girl for an Internet prank ended up helping police arrest a 48-year-old man who tried to meet the fictitious teenager for sex, authorities said.
The five boys had created a fake profile of a girl on MySpace.com — a social networking website — to cheer up a friend who had recently broken up with his girlfriend.
But soon, a man began sending messages to the "girl" and their conversations began to have sexual overtones, said Fontana police Sgt. William Megenney.
The man also sent the "girl" his picture and arranged to meet her at a public park. The boys went to the park and, when the man arrived, they called police.
Michael Ramos, 48, of Fontana, was booked into West Valley Detention Center on Monday for investigation of felony attempted lewd and lascivious conduct with a child and for an outstanding warrant, Megenney said.
Two men were arrested last week also, in what prosecutors said were the first federal sexual assault charges involving MySpace. The unrelated cases involved Connecticut girls who were 11 and 14, the FBI said.

Man accused of molesting 'MySpace' girl caught.

, ,

A South Florida man accused of sexually molesting a 15-year-old girl he met on MySpace was arrested in South Carolina on Wednesday, just one day after local police filed a warrant for his arrest.
Ansen Brown, 32, is in the custody of the Greenville Police Department awaiting extradition. He will be charged with one count of lewd and lascivious molestation, said Sgt. Manny Marino, a spokesman for the Hollywood Police Department.

I wasn't sure what lascivious meant , so I did a Google Image Search. Yep, that's what I thought it meant.
Authorities believe Brown befriended a 15-year-old girl from California on MySpace in January, then paid for her to fly to Florida on April 10.
Brown picked her up at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport that morning, drove her to a Hollywood apartment, then sexually molested her, police said.
The girl is back with her family in California.
"A lot of those sites are like guidebooks on how to find and victimize children," said Sandi Copes, a spokeswoman for the State Attorney General's Office. "Kids post their hopes, their fears and dreams, and these people know how to exploit that."

Brown bills himself as "The World Famous Ansen Brown" on his MySpace page. Besides four samples of his hip-hop songs, the page also includes a written call for anyone interested in being a porn star.

Man charged after 5-year-old boy's urine tests positive for cocaine

, ,

There are times when you are just so stunned at the story, that you forget to be outraged.

A South Salt Lake man has been charged in a drug case in which a 5-year-old boy tested positive for cocaine when a woman used the boy's urine to cheat on a drug screening.
The woman, posing as a man, told authorities that "he" knew parents who were exposing their child to heroin and cocaine, court documents state. The woman admitted "he" used the 5-year-old's urine to take a drug test, but the urine came back positive for cocaine.
Later tests on the child's urine and hair also came back positive for cocaine and opiates, court documents state. A man, 54, was charged Monday with clandestine laboratory endangerment of a child, a third-degree felony. A woman co-defendant - not the caller - was charged last week.

A woman posing as a man tries to use the urine from a five year old to pass a drug test... the urine tested positive for cocaine so she/he reported the parents to the police?
I would also want to investigate the circumstances that led to her/him having possession of a five year old's urine.

Pimp State Trooper

, , ,

HARRISBURG -- A former Pennsylvania state trooper tipped off pimps who ran a child prostitution ring in exchange for money and sex, federal prosecutors said today in announcing charges against him.
Kevin J. Coleman, 42, of Harrisburg, was accused of interfering with a nationwide investigation into a ring that used women and teenagers as prostitutes. He was accused of disclosing investigative details, wiretaps and police sweeps.
Prosecutors said Mr. Coleman was assigned to anti-prostitution patrols at the Gables Truck Stop near Harrisburg when pimps -- many from Toledo, Ohio -- were operating there.
Mr. Coleman resigned as a state trooper after learning he was under investigation, prosecutors said. It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.
At least nine of the girls were under age 18 when they were forced into working as prostitutes, authorities said, and in one case a 12-year-old girl was forced to engage in prostitution to pay for her grandfather's crack cocaine.

Parents of 5-month-old appear in court to face first-degree murder charges, may be facing death penalty
February 20, 2008
People v. Tracy D. Hermann
People v. James E. Sargent
Peoria County Case 08 CF 200
On February 12, 2008, Peoria Police responded to a call at 3012 W. Proctor Street in Peoria. Found dead and strapped in a car seat set that had been placed in a crib was 5 month old Benjamin Sargent. The defendants are his parents.
Benjamin was wearing a blue snow suit. It was zipped up.
The temperature in the room was near 80 degrees. Benjamin’s eyes were open, his hands were clenched in a fistlike position and, although dead, his eyes were staring straight ahead.
Police investigation and medical and pathological examination would reveal that Benjamin had been strapped into this car seat and had not left it in eight days. All waste and urine had collected beneath him and his buttocks, legs and back were eaten into by the resulting poison. Some waste left in Benjamin’s colon revealed resulted in constipation because it could not be pushed out of his body due to starvation.

We just got back from a trip to Houston where we met my Son and his family. I got to spend a wonderful couple of days playing with my beautiful, sweet, smart, two year old grand daughter. God, I love these children.

I know, I said I would quit blogging about these things but I guess it helps me deal with it.
You see, I have heard the laughter of a child and I will forever be addicted to it.
