Adam Lamert Scares ABC but Just Right for CBS

When I was in high school, one of my favorite DJs was fired for saying "ass" on the air. Even as his fans protested, the church groups won out and the celebrity did not return to his job.Guess morals just don't win out any more. After watching Adam Lambert fondle women, simulate oral sex with one man, and french kiss another on the American Music Awards Show Sunday night, ABC canceled a scheduled appearance on Good Morning America saying his performance was just too controversial.
Seems that Southern Baptist everywhere will soon be aghast. The homosexual/S&M performance caught the interest of CBS and Adam is scheduled for their Morning Show tomorrow morning.
The entertainment business has become so competitive that a performer can no longer rely on their talent. They MUST rely on the shock factor. As long as people are talking about them, it doesn't matter what they are saying.
That's a shame because I had always thought that Lambert had a beautiful voice. I will never again watch one of his performances. I will not be watching the Morning Show to see what inspired him to deviate from his rehearsed show. Not because he flaunted his sexuality but because of the way the little sneak used the venue for his own agenda. He wasn't happy with the notoriety and fame associated with being chosen for the show, he had to ruin the awards presentation for everyone to make it the "Adam Lambert Show".
I know what his defense will be. Over the years we have tolerated girls making out, wardrobe malfunctions, and leaked sex tapes. Why is this so different?
I don't know about you, but I watched because I was interested in his talent and what he had done with his career since winning the American Idol show, and he took advantage of my curiosity to flip me the bird. That's the way I see it. He raped my eyes.
If someone had announced a disclaimer and asked if I wanted to see him kiss some dude or face hump a guy, I would have declined.
This is over the top and I hope it cost him a great set back in his career.
