Parrots - a potentially dangerous species

"potentially dangerous species?"
I just happen to find out about flocks of wild parrots in Brooklyn, NY.
You have to go read about their history.
Over the years I have seen parrots or such in the wild but never like this.

We had parrots like that in Cape Coral, Florida. They were wild and fed on berries in the vacant lots.
We've been hearing here in our neighborhood that we have a black panther or leopard or something that they think came from a similiar source - escaped from a container in Miami. If they are illegally imported, then people don't report them as missing.
