This was the expression printed on the free T-shirt I got for buying 2 pairs of shoes from a shoe store at a local mall last week. I believe that the women of today have more investments tied to shoes and clothing than they have in mutual funds. Their allegiance to material possessions have switched from precious diamonds and rubies to fancy shoes and clothing. How many women do we see today flash their true blue jewelry as an everyday wear? An average woman would simply wear fancy jewelry just to match her outfit. Somehow, there is this invisible magnet that attracts every woman to try on that precious little stiletto heels no matter how painful it would be to walk with or that cute blouse on the window display. In a woman's mind, there is always this outfit that needed matching with a nice pair of shoes.
And no sirree, it is not panic buying. To us, it is a necessity to have that matching pair. In my case, this feeling of necessity has been fuelled by watching Stacy and Clinton of 'What Not To Wear', a reality TV show. Case in point, I just bought two pairs of wedged shoes today just to complete my wardrobe this summer.
