My Opera is closing 1st of March

Maggie's Meanderings

Who, What, Where, When, Why

Chaotic head space!!! Too much to do and too little time left. Only 19 days till I leave for the UK.

Where to start. What to do first .... lists, yes make lists. I will do that tomorrow.

But first let me tell you about my ab fab Saturday. Spent the day with my friend Sue in her shed at Boonah. A girl's day in the shed felting. What an indulgence .. a whole day felting!!, felt good!!

With doors & windows thrown open to catch both the breezes and magical views of the lush, scenic rim we filled the shed with creative energy, endless chatter, pots of tea, bags of wool and notions, buckets of hot soapy water and metres of bubble wrap. What fun!!

Shoulders, elbows and hands working overtime we had a highly productive day producing several items each. I was in a scarf mood and the three beautiful items below are testament to my days hard work.

I wish every Saturday was such fun.

Today was catch up day at home and tomorrow, well tomorrow will be list day!

The twins have arrived!!!

nice day to be at home and not at redbank - just pottering around and will go to the shops soon to post sarah her birthday present. she sent her graduation details today ---i hope i dont cry when i am there because tears came when i read her email--too emotional. the graduates walk to senate house - a procession through cambridge!! and there are several dinners and a lunch.

trish has started her permanent job ---lots of operations on rabbits!!! she is loving it and is living above the vet practice and in 3 weeks time they are moving to a house which is attached to the vet clinic. so convenient.

You continue to surprise me with your leaps & bounds in technology. You have come so far from the lady (all those years ago) at RBPSHS who did not know how to email. There is no stopping you now girl!!!!!

Yes I can just imagine how emotional the graduation ceremony will be. What special moments for all of you. So good to hear of hard work getting its rewards. Next will be Daniel's graduation and maybe a trip to America for you all. Don't you just love life and all the joy it so unexpectedly brings.

I bought the scarves over here to the UK and gave them to Em to give to her friends. She has given them to three of her friends who helped her when the twins arrived. They all really liked them. It is such a good feeling to make things to give to people.

Not too long now until you are on your way over here. What a hoot you will have with the girls.

Take care

Love Maggie
