The Ajiro Bamboo Velobike, it's really a three-wheeled, bamboo bike! I think it's a pretty cool thing to have these days with the high cost of gas. Plus it's environmentally friendly for those concern with the environment.

The Australian Design Award website has a pretty cool article about it!

The velomobile concept provides a natural source of human power, bridging the gap between car and bicycle by providing on-board storage and canopy protection for the rider. Simplifying the package, the rear wheels act as the steering mechanism, with the front wheel providing power input. This removes complexity of many recumbent vehicles reliant on derailleur systems. For stability at the low speeds proposed for urban use, most of the rider weight is positioned over the rear wheels.

Since I couldn't go to the rally because I am still resting from my Germany vacation that it ended this week, I decided to watch it on TV. Later I was browsing online through Reddit's Colbert Rally page and I found some pretty hilarious comments and pictures from the event!
