Barefooted

Hey there folks! Finally, the long overdue blog is here! I made this account just a few hours ago and geez, i had a hard time thinking of a unique username. While thinking of a username, our production administrator reminded us about the company's general assembly at 3:00 o'clock in the afternoon. When i looked at the computer's clock, oh brother! It was ten to three already, so i solicited a suggestion from my new officemate for me to at least finished the registration stage. Too bad! He wasn't able to give any suggestion so i closed the web page and headed to studio B for the general assembly.
At the entrance of the studio, there was a long table with 3 sets of books on top. Out of my curiousity, i approached the table and read the title of the book. My eyes sparked upon seeing what was written on the book's cover--"Barefooted Soul" by Imelda Roberts. Oh wow! I found it cute and iteresting and i suddenly remember that i was thinking of a unique username for this blog. Geez! What can i say! God gives us answers in unique ways, doesn't He?
The assembly lasted for almost two hours and soon as i got back at the office i hurriedly signed up with the username "d_barefooted". Oh yeah! I said i wanted a unique username right? But i think this one isn't unique at all, however i am happy with it for it symbolizes something about myself. Oh, thanks for the general assembly and thanks for the book "Barefooted Soul".
Now let me just tell you something about that book. It was written by Imelda Roberts (who happened to be the guest speaker for the assembly), the first Filipino-American woman recipient of Ellis Medal of Honor in 2006. The book has 40 different inspirational stories written in 40 nights. Oh wow! She must be a very good writer huh?! Forty stories in forty nights? Amazing!!!!
