제45회 대종상영화제 - 45th Grand Bell Awards (2008)

I first heard about the nominees when Oceanluv forwarded the Grand Bell's thread to that of Gang Dong Won. Then, the final results came out last night (June 27) at the awards ceremony, where those who have a mania for Korean films witnessed most of major films be the awardees as expected.

Gang Dong Won's latest film <M> was nominated in some categories such as Best Editting whose winner is ultimately Seven days, Best Lighting (Court lady), Best Sound Effects (Seven days), Best visual effect (D-war). Unfortunately M ended with only one trophy for Best Art Design. I presumed on <M>'s ~~"modest"~~ humble position this Friday night and in fact that's how it was

<The chaser> has won absolutely with many major awards, notably Best Film and Best Director, whereas i see <Seven days> of actress Kim Yoon Jin was a very tough competitor in such categories. Anyway, congratulations on winners, especially toward <M>

Yesterday witnessed a gathering of stardoms on the red carpet of The 44th Paeksangs Arts Works.

Congratulations to all winners !!!

Film section this year saw an extreme pity in mind. The trophies of popularity awards should've gone to others rather than Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Jeong Eun, shouldn't they..? Gang Dong Won perhaps

??? Of course, this is only my personal wish and i know well the result depends on the citizen's online voting... While I thought that Lee Hana or Lee Yeon Hee would win Best new actress, the result turned Han Ye Seul for her exxagerate acting in movie <Yonguijudo Miss Shin>. I can't believe that Jun Do Yeon, who is flagged as "The lady of Cannes" didn't win Best actress for blockbuster <Secret sunshine>, and Kim Min hee was chosen instead

Anyway, i think she is a talent and i really like her dress.

In terms of TV section, Lee Ji Ah truly deserved Best new actress award due to her good acting in MBC drama The Legend. Many fans of this sky-high-budgeted superhero drama also attended the ceremony with the hope of seeing in the leading actor, Yonsama Bea Yong Joon. But why always Yoon Eun Hye for Best actress award??? Despite that actresses tend to shed tears more easily than male colleagues...sometimes they do it on purpose, Eun Hye ssi seemed to overact (she cried a river) as if this is the first time she has won an honored award..."Ah, how could it be", she said. I think her gown seemed unfittable to her clothing size. Bedides, i truly congrate Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yu Ri, who brought home double happiness with a trophy for each one in line with Popularity category. I really like this couple in KBS drama <Hong Gil Dong, the hero>, which just has wrapped up the last episode last month

Kang's white suit yesterday reminds me of his charisma in also a KBS series <Scandal in old Seoul>. Also, white goes very well with Yu Ri onni.
