They had these Winter Show packed attraction – ice skating rink and snow rides for children aside from chocolate and Chef’s competition inside the gardens which were great and obviously made people to drive in numbers.
At the gardens, it was so hard to take pictures of the attractive features because it was been packed up with people and children taking some photos, so we got to wait until they’re done with it to take photos, too.
Set in the historic district of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley Gardens is nestled amongst the foothills of the Brokenback Ranges in the heart of the Hunter vineyards.
They said that the garden is lying on 60 acres of land. It features 10 theme gardens; Formal, Indian Mosaic, Rose, Italian Grotto with the statue of St Francis of Assisi (patron saint of birds and animals), Border Garden, waterfall in the Sunken Garden, the elegant Oriental Garden and the kids favourite - Storybook Garden.
Also, within the 60 acres, are superb gardens and aged vineyards, the Hunter Valley Gardens village offers award-winning restaurants, an Irish Pub, Roche Wines and a boutique shopping village.

At the forefront of this lovely gardens is a lake where they converted (man made?) it as an Aqua Golf, which is often visited by kids and adults for recreation.
Just right after the gate, are boutiques,souvenirs, coffee shops as well as wine galleries like this one in photo. All are rolled into one, they make the Hunter Valley Gardens worth a place to be.
