I noticed that my last blog was July 2008 and the one before that was 2006, now I'm writing this blog and it's 2010. I'm afraid I have turned out to be a biennial blogger - not that I wanted to. Given the scarce resource which is time I would have wanted to blog on a regular basis (ok not regulary biennial but way more frequent than that).
Anyways, one of my resolve is to blog more often which I recall I have written that 2 years ago. Oh what the heck, maybe this time I get to fulfill what I said... so off to my thinking corner for my next blog entry.

I guess I'm really not much of a blogger, I have registered to a couple of blogs and just like this one it takes me months to do a follow-up. Well for this one it took me 2 years, to write a follow-up. So many things happen in a day, much more in a week and even more so in a year. Anyways, I have made a blog resolution to write whenever I can and whenever and whatever I feel like writing... ok probably not straight to this blog, it could be in a notepad - then later on transfer it here.
What do I really want to write about? Life ala Deepak Chopra? nah... nobody is an expert in life, life is a mystery waiting to be solved once you leave earth - and to one's regret maybe not. How about Religion? nah... another one of those chicken and egg thingy, you just go round and round debating on a subject.
So what should I write about? I guess anything... anything at all. Even non-sense things, because at some point it maybe non-sense to one but it could be completely making sense to another. get the drift? No? me too.
Ciao!

For decades now, Philippines is caught up in a turmoil due to its present economy and politics. It has been joked around that the best business in the Philippins is politics. Not only can one get powerful to protect his/her investment but also be influential to the business community. If I have the chance I myself would probably run for public office if only for the reason of running my own business and making sure I get the right connections. Gone are the days when success can be attributed to knowledge and determination, now it not what you know that counts but who you know. And it's pity for those in the grassroots because it will put them in such a situation that even they will even find hard to adjust.
There are so many things that crosses my mind right now that I find it hard to process. I am angered by the thoughts of my fellowmen living without a decent shelter because they earn money the hard way. I am angered by the thought that these people who fight the good fight of life have no food to eat, because they have no money. Most oftentimes even, these people consider themselve lucky if they'd be able to eat at least twice a day. There are orphans out in the streets that earn their survival by being beggars and some of these orphans are being employed by syndicates who in essence abuse these children.
Should the government serve the people? Or should the people expect less from the government?

There really isn't much I have to say since this is my first blog. Besides I am not feeling well because I got rained on last weekend and this is just to start my blogging activity here.
Hence, I won't be writing anything significant here... for this blog at least.
I hope you watch out for The Dakila7 Chronicles.
