My colleague Robert Woody began a blog Being Musical, Being Human a couple years ago. His writing in any forum is always thought provoking and well-worded. I know I've learned plenty. Recently, Psychology Today invited him to blog for them. I have noted plenty of tweets and retweets related to his blogs. The trifecta of blog, twitter account, and website creates the preferred communication method of many.
Then I found out I had this languishing blog sitting from my doctoral studies. The most recent post from 7 years ago! First, I had to go and edit ... Considered hitting the delete button. There are, however, a couple useful thoughts I don't mind sharing. Together they create some indication of formative thoughts from several years ago, and a reminder of where I was and how some things have changed.
Over the holidays I'll go back and clean these up. Because my current appointments are not research/writing centric, I'll hope to keep my "free-time" clear in the New Year so that, perhaps, I can add a few more blogs and see where this goes. I can always hope.
I certainly have things to say! Perhaps I should get on board.
