IT'S A DANES LIFE

Saba, as some may know is my 3 soon to be 4 year old Great Dane. She is a rescued dog;which means she has issues.
These issues will be my inspiration.
I might have started writing sooner had I thought of it, many of her past antics are somewhat hazy in my memory.
She came to us fully house-broken thankfully. So she did have THAT going for her. She also knew basic commands, sit, down and such, and she would readily obey. But for all the good manners she would demonstrate, her misbehaving ways were "saved" until she felt we had become completely attatched.
We should have suspected trouble when less than 24 hours in our home she would break my husbands' glasses while they were sitting on his nose. He leaned down to lovingly pet this dog who came from such a horrible environment and she sensing the connection ... GENTLY raised her head to meet his hand and CRACK!
The glasses were beyond repair; that would be our first major expense.
