On Wednesday 9^th July 2008, I went to South Island with my family and my auntie’s. When we got to the harbour, I went on board and looked around before the ship started to go. It was a huge ship with 10 decks including a cinema, play areas, restaurants... I really wanted to watch a film, but it was Indiana Jones and we watched it already in Welly, so mummy never allowed, about that I’m sure!!!

“Rmmm” the ship went and away we headed for South Island.

Hello, everyone. This is me on the sun deck (the top deck).

After that, I got sick when the ship was at sea. But when it got into the inlet leading to Picton, I was fine again. This is me eating “dried plum”.

When we got off the ship, my mum and my auntie picked up the car that we hired. First place: NELSON!!!

After one night in Nelson, away we went to Franz Josef. Boring, because for the 2 days we stayed, it was all pouring. Anyway, we watched 6 dvds during that time and played MONOPOLY all day and night.

I saw snow for the 1st time in my life.

However. we had 3 wondeful days in QUEENSTOWN .
