The first Christmas in NZ

It is nearly Xmas. I'm so excited!!!

Some days ago, I went Capital E (a play area for children in Welly). There, I saw the calendar counting the days from the beginning of December to Xmas and the streets on London Xmas with snowmen, jack-in-box (I don't really know how to call this: it is like a surprise box; when you open it, some puppet creatures jump out to surprise you). I also learnt how to make cards and crackers. I met Santa Claus (he's not real, of course, but he looks very kind). He asked me and my brother what our names are, what we like, and if we have been good boy and girl this year.

This is a photo of me and my brother with Santa Claus in Capital. Does he look kind???

I made my own Xmas tree. I put some decorations on it like candy canes, satin balls, ribbon bows, gift packs... I love my Xmas tree. My auntie Mavis gave me a huge Xmas present but I cannot open until Xmas . I can't wait to open it!!!

I wrote a letter to Santa Claus and he'll give me presents. I asked him for a book about how to make stuff like doing my hair styles, paper maches, origami, pop-up cards... and some materials for them like ribbons, paint sets, scrunchies... I want to buy me something really cheap because he has to buy gifts for poor children.

This is my Xmas tree. I decorated it myself. Am I a good girl
