Tip: Get a cool background for your speed dial page

, ,

Have you got a go with the 10.0 beta 1, yet? If not, grab a copy and play with it! party

One of the things I like the most in the beta is the new custom speed dial page. You can configure the number of speed dials—this has been requested by many since we introduced nine dials in Opera 9.2—and add a background image. (Default search engine can also be changed under Preferences > Search.)

Mac OS X ship with some cool background pictures to get started. You can find all of them in the /Library/Desktop Pictures/ folder on your system. I like the black and white pier as my background.

You can also find some cool ones by Vlad Studio like Gears.

Pretty good looking compared to the old white. yes

As always, remember to report bugs (howto).
