Day Against DRM: May 4th

Next week, on May 4th, the Free Software Foundation and other organizations against Digital Rights Management software lock-downs wants to raise awareness by mobilizing the public against DRM. May 4th is the first ever Day Against DRM.

If you are interested in ensuring your digital freedom and preserving our digital legacy for the future: then please check out the campaign Web site and tell your friends about any local events!

A simple way you can help out is by educating a friend. You know what DRM is, and you know it is broken by design. But do your friends and family know? Use May 4th to talk to them about it.

Today is the big day everyone! Remember to tell at least one person about how DRM messes with their life and digital rights. —and wear a tinfoil hat for the occasion.
