In this day together with age of two together with sometimes three income earners needed to experience a financially solvent household (soon being three and sometimes four income earners per house if we don't hold our elected officials responsible for their spending ways and kick them out of office when there is even the appearance associated with profligate spending), I'm able to understand why the Authorities will say that this "Economy" is doing well.
Add that many income earners on the statistics and, yeah, the numbers will look real good!
In the last century, the 20th century, from the early 1950's up until the late 1970's, it would appear that one income earner per household was sufficient for a financially solvent household. There were exceptions but typically that seemed to become the case.
As the twentieth century waned, it appeared as if (at least to me) the quantity of income earners per household needed to have a solvent household increased.
The truth of the difficulty is this - funds may not be the most important thing in the world nevertheless it sure seems to affect almost everything that is dear to help us. Therefore, to have enough money for our physical, mental and spiritual well-being can be an absolute necessity!
Because about this need for additional earnings earners per household, I feel that the quality of life isn't what it once was.
Many people share the same sentiment and are constantly buying way to supplement their income and to replace it if possible.
Thus, they look for income producing opportunities. Constantly, a home-based business.
Together with, fortunately, because of the creation with the Internet and the advent in the personal computer, never before in the history of our planet has there been a possibility of such magnitude for an average to create a sufficient income inside comfort, safety and security health of their own home to get their dreams, wants together with desires! Exit the Rat race!
Unfortunately, many of those keying in this endeavor (some sort of home-based business) for when are neither business experienced nor are they marketing savvy. Two essential disciplines that need to be mastered before any degree of success can be achieved.
Consequently, not knowing this and being mesmerized by the increasingly slick and manipulative internet based business sales pages that permeate the web, they fail and, sadly, never try again.
The frustration of not knowing what can be done to be successful together with quiting after one chance is what, at least in my humble opinion, creates the so-called 97% failure rate.
Truth be known those that persist and come to your realization that failure at one step with the process is not total failure apparently succeed 100% of the time. Yes, they seem to own attitude that "I'm going to succeed at this and die trying. " Without a doubt, if you are familiar with those that sell systems for make money at home product or service and the stories they tell of their own personal journey, the common thread is they never quit.
Few people wish to "die trying" nor do they have the time, energy or money to get themselves to the issue that they've mastered the aforementioned disciplines so they search for what I call a business in a box. Whatever requires minimal effort, once going runs with near autopilot and pays a gradual and predictable income.
These "businesses in some sort of box" can become a means to an end (rat race exit) or to individuals who don't really expect much... a stepping stone to taller heights for their learning process.
Personally, I have had some terrific success promoting other people's product or service. What is usually called web affiliate marketing. Something to look into if the first is adamant about exiting the rat race and yet doesn't have the requisite skills to succeed independently.
