After 1989, Romanians celebrate their national day on the 1st of December.

On this day in 1918, the National Assembly in Alba Iulia proclamed the Unification of all Romanians, from Bessarabia, Bukovina, Transylvania, Moldavia and Wallachia.

In the European Union since 1 January 2007, and member of the Latin Union and La Francophonie, Romania sits arguably in Central Europe, Eastern Europe or the Balkans.

Happy b-day! Do you guys blow anything up? That's what America does on July Fourth, which is our like 'patriotic holiday'. Everyone see's how much beer they can drink and than they blow every single fire work in the country up.
