Opera Community, OC, blog, Internet

In April 2004, I joined the Opera Community myself, while looking for answers in the
Betas, previews, and weeklies forums. I wanted to ask and to be heard, and spent hours browsing the (then) heart of the community.
Being a student, I hardly noticed Opera and the OC creep up on me. I liked the internationality of it, people of all ages and places and backgrounds being supportive together. I even managed to translate something into Portuguese and post in the Brasilian forum.
And now... I have one real presence on the web, on my (dot) opera. And for the new user (number 0x7A120 for the technically inclined, or 五百千 for the artistic one): Hello. And welcome in!
We'll prepare something for you

late with everything.
I finally arrived in my home town, some 300km from Timisoara. I forgot to bring a few things, of course, including cable and software to connect to my phone and download the pictures I made.
Helped mother make our traditional salad for Christmas, everything else was already prepared, including some 5 types of cookies, and of course the tree, very festive, as the rest of our home.
I now
realize I'm addicted to being online. And yet cannot properly sit down and write the "making of" the contest submission

In other title-related news, here's how fast the US embassies in this part of Europe normally process tourist visas:
Bucharest, Romania: 44 days
Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro: 22 days
but
Chisinau, Republic of Moldova: same day
Budapest, Hungary: 1 day
Sofia, Bulgaria: 2 days
Kiev, Ukraine: 29 days
