Opera Mini 3D

Should allow something like this (to view, get a pair of 3D glasses, like me)

The procedure of posting anaglyph 3D photos would be the same. Except:
* One would take and upload two photos in one go. (A decent workaround for one-pic-per-MMS phones should be possible, e.g. prefixing the titles with L[eft] and R[ight])
* myopera servers would combine the two images into one, before showing the resulting post on the blog
* settings can be changed at any time, by blogger and visitor, and should allow people to view the enhanced photo with all types of glasses.

How does "OPERA Mini - 3D Photo Blog" sound ?

That sounds like a great fun idea, but how often would it be used? Is it worth setting up extra procedures on Opera when they'd be viewed mainly as a gimmick and rarely used? Personally I'd prefer more mobile support on My Opera than anything else.

Sorry if it sounds like I'm shredding your idea. I do actually like it, but I think there may be too much work needed to get it up and running if only a couple of people ever use it after trying it once to see what it does.

Actually, where does one get 3d glasses in the UK these days? The kid I asked at the local cinema a few years back didn't even know what I was talking about and I left feeling very very old.

I didn't even know how to say "anaglyph" in Romanian.. Just asked for children magazines, that include glasses with different colored lenses. I got the same long looks. Every time

Of course this isn't "top priority". Unless MyOpera starts shipping out as prizes 3D glasses with/instead of t-shirts.

And here, http://wap.ucfly.com , here's a Chinese mobile browser tat can make access to your phone book and call, message at will, and can edit number. Of course, it's only in Chinese... Its graph is terrible compared to Opera Mini, and doesn't have a good small screen rendering engine... Hey, I'm using Opera Mini!

So, your proposing being able to view 3D photos on certain sites when viewed through the Opera browser. I like it. I noticed this is an older post, so has anyone implemented this? I'd love to try it out.
