Tramway spotting

, , ,

Tram controllers checked my pass twice in one day, having never controlled me all this month.

Who thinks that having a pass for unlimited travels on the T1 line allows you to ride from a to b (or vice-versa, or anywhere in between) in a T2 tram?
Lines T1 and T2 share the tracks between stations a and b
[Later edit] The lines are short city tram lines and belong to the same company.

Gutsy gibbonYeah, no

once again that was quite a leading question hehe. What is really the difference? Is it like different lines or local vs regional? In norway the latter one might not always mean the same "company", wile in the first case should not matter.

[Edit] Maybe if turned images on on Opera Mini I would have seen that image p:

Sorry about the confusion. I added a (long) description to the image and a quick note.

Sure. Monthly subscription for line T1, actually.

But are they the same company? If so it sounds strange they don't divide the city in zones rather than lines.

Is there even a way of telling which tram you're on? If they're on the same track charging the same fair and still in a T1 area I'd have thought it was perfectly reasonable. I think you should complain with great gusto, and perhaps a fireaxe.

Maybe there's a pecking order. Try getting a T2 ticket and riding on a T1 tram, then see what happens.

Numbered lines are the preffered way to systematize traffic in this country.

I did. They didn't notice the pass was for the wrong type. I had the complaint ready just in case.
