Here’s a gallery of a 59-feet-tall 1:1 Gundam robot, lying down in its base at Mount Fuji. I know the world is entranced by Transformers right now, but please excuse my enthusiasm when I say… “it’s full-scale Gundam! A REAL GUNDAM! Look at those pics! LOOK AT THAT DETAIL! OMFG!” OK, much better now. We told you about the project before, but as you can see now it is a reality. And you can even get inside the cockpit while you play in the interactive Gundam Crisis attraction that surrounds it.

Core Lander
Many Gundams are equipped with a built-in core lander, a detachable hover vehicle which houses the mobile fighter's cockpit. As well as providing Gundam Fighters with a convenient means of personal transportation, these vehicles also double as emergency escape systems

Regulations
The following are the seven articles of the Gundam Fight International Regulations.
Rules of the 13th Gundam Fight:
Article 1:
A unit whose head section has been destroyed is disqualified.
Article 2:
A Gundam Fighter must never aim at the cockpit of an opponent's Gundam.
Article 3:
A Gundam Fighter may repair damage to his Gundam as often as he desires and move on to the championship league, as long as the head section has not been destroyed.
Article 4:
A Gundam Fighter must take responsibility for protecting his own Gundam.
Article 5:
A match shall only be held on a one-on-one basis.
Article 6:
A Gundam Fighter shall not taint the honor and dignity of the nation he is representing.
Article 7:
Earth is the ring!
Supplement
to Article 1:
Accidental harm inflicted on a Gundam Fighter during a match is acceptable.
Supplement to Article 7:
Destruction of property on Earth due to the Gundam Fight is not considered a crime.
