Dark Professional is designed to be an easily reskinable blog theme for use with Opera blogs and groups. The core theme is pretty much just an update of the current Darkside theme that makes it a little more professional feeling (hence the name) and a bit less bland to look at, featuring a redesigned menu system, some renaming for personal blogs and groups, a skinnier banner section, a redesigned blog title format, a funky sidebar relaxation and some other effects.
Each skin I release for use with Dark Professional will add different fonts, backgrounds and banners into the mix to change the core theme into something really special. Keep your eyes on this page for different skin releases as well as updates to the core theme.
Installation
To install this theme you need to import it to your account's custom CSS, select a black top bar and apply Darkside as your theme. To do so you need to follow these steps:
- Copy the following code to your clipboard:
@import url(http://files.myopera.com/darkprofessional/user.css);
- Click My page -> Design
- Select Darkside as your theme
- Click custom style sheet

Paste the the code from your clipboard in the text field
- Select Use my custom style sheet together with the current theme
- Click SAVE
- Click « Back
- Click Change color of the My Opera top menu
- Select a Black top bar
- Click SAVE CHANGES
Go to your page and reload it to see the changes.

A skin based on the popular anime series. A change is applied to the title font and menu font, a tiled background is applied and a subtler background image applied to the content area.

A skin based on a popular movie and it's increasingly lame sequels. A change is applied to the title font and the sides of the blog content are made shiny (thanks to an element designed by Dr Launch) as in the Headline skin, below. An animated background is applied to complete the Matrix look that so many people are
still after for some reason.
