My Opera历史剧

最近跟历史剧似乎很有缘，上个星期"Rome"第二季刚刚放完最后一集，Octavian在埃及击败了Marc Antony，统一了罗马，成为"First Citizen"。这部剧确实是看到后面就越来越有味道了。这个星期看了两部今年美国的史诗巨片：Frank Miller's"300" 和Mel Gibson's"Apocalypto"。

300名斯巴达勇士在King Leonidas的率领下，同波斯皇帝Xerxes率领的百万大军在温泉关大战，最终寡不敌众全军覆没，这是历史上非常著名的以弱对强的战役。这部电影根据Frank Miller的漫画改编，为了符合漫画的风格，运用了大量的慢动作镜头，特别是在体现战争的残酷和惨烈的时候，所以这片子也被认为过于血腥，不过我觉得刚刚好，是很难得一见的大场面战争影片。就算为了slow motion，也值得一看。

玛雅帝国最后的时光，玛雅人原始的生活，已经悄悄被世界所发现。虽然整部电影叙述的是Jaguar努力逃脱武士的追捕，回到原来居住的地方把自己的妻子和孩子救出来的故事，但是影片中只出现了5分钟的西班牙人的海船，划着小艇登上大陆的西班牙人和船头传教士手中握着的十字架，宣告着另一个文明的来临，一种暗示展露出来。
Jaguar在丛林中奔跑的样子，总让我想起"Run，Rola，Run"，从他开始在丛林里面奋力奔跑，让我觉得前面玛雅的神秘顿时消失，这部片子似乎就开始平庸了一些。不过，还是值得看看，毕竟讲述古代文明的电影，在hollywood还是少之又少。况且，Mel Gibson以前导演的"The Passion"给我留下的印象还不错。
