Palm現在基本淪為听mp3和看書的工具了，mp3還是專門的播放起比較好，因為現在養成了晚上睡覺前看書的習慣，而且越發習慣在電子工具上看書（偶是無紙化的積极響應者！），palm那小小的屏幕讓翻頁成為了頻繁的動作，所以一個專門的電子書閲讀器就進入我的視野。
電子書的研製其實很早就開始了，E-ink電子墨水的誕生就是為了這個目標，進行這類研究的積極倡導者除了富士通、索尼等日本廠商外就是飛利浦。後來飛利浦的研發部門獨立出來成立了irex這個公司，雖然很早就知道，但是當時的技術非常不成熟，後來也就慢慢忘了。不過從今年開始，很多廠家都開始推出相應的商業化產品，這個東東總算開始成爲現實了。
我對電子書的期望很簡單：
1.不需要太快的cpu，速度快了廢電，像iliad那個號稱400Mhz的cpu我覺得太快了。
2.A5大小，太大不好拿，小了屏幕不爽
3.黑白就行，灰度達到palm os4時代的16級就行
4.分辨率1024*768或者800*600的標準分辨率，要不然像pdf這種格式顯示就很不爽。palm對pdf的支持就不好，我也不想用ppc，所以這方面希望很高
5.只用看書就行，至於能否儅記事本使用還沒考慮過
6.可以的話最好有書寫可能，可以作作筆記批註什麽的
7.不要其它多媒體，費電
8.打開的速度要快，開書開半天誰受得了。看了iliad的使用視頻，打開速度太慢了，還無法滿足我的要求。勇用palm就知道我這個要求一點都不過分。
9.電池要夠，看個書還擔心電量就太不爽了，能撐一個禮拜是最好的。
