CARPE DIEM

Finally, my thesis is completed, although it is a draft in the current phase, still, great efforts are made in the past couple of days, especially this weekend, I hardly had any sleep at all.

Arsenal played a fine game which I think can be only called "fine", although, Arsenal won and scored three.

Jens agreed to stay for another year, and to our surprise, he celebrated it with a stupid fault in the game which helped Fulham scored their lucky goal.

Baptista scored one shortly after the game started, but missed a lot of opportunities later during the game. I really hope that Baptista can be offered a contract, but until now, he does not prove himself enough.

When it comes to Adebayor, I guess he was the happy man yesterday, assisting Baptista scored and made his own late in the game, excellent shot. He saved Arsenal.

But I don't think the team played well. In the second half, I almost fell asleep sitting in front of my computer. At that time, I really missed the golden time Henry, Vieirra (I guess I misspell his name), Pires and Ljungberg swept every game they had.

Wuhan had its game with Xiamen (厦门) at home. I thought it would be an easy game, after all the opponent is at the bottom of the league, but reality can always be cruel: a tough and lucky draw finally nailed us at the 8th position in the league. Losing the game to Shenzhen, and now just 1 point from Xiamen, what the hell is going on here!

Victory always feels sweet

Good news just came one after another, yesterday, Arsenal finally won the game against Bolton, and today, Wuhan beats Shandong (山东) at home. Two crucial victory: Arsenal defeated its rival for the fourth place and won its first game during the last five; Wuhan gains its second win in its fifth game, especially against the so-called "Chinese Real Madrid", that is very inspiring for a not-so-powerful team in the league.

I wonder why Anelka can always score when he faces Arsenal, but luckily, Rosisky made his second league goal this season, and Cesc finally saved the game with his score.

Maybe Wuhan's victory is more worthy of mentioning. We scored 3 after 2 goals behind. I really lost my patience and confidence when the first half is over and the score is 0:2. However, to my surprise, when I turned on my TV this evening, and watched the sport news, gosh! They are absolutely amazing!

Now Arsenal consolidates its 4th place in the league, and Wuhan comes up to the 8th place with one more game in hand. What else can I say? Victory always feels sweet.

Luck is all we need

All right, this is not fun at all. Arsenal lost its game again, in a very frustrating way. Every time the statistic shows that we could win the game, and every time, we lose it. I don't know what's really going on there, the only thing I know is that, we always encounter the wrong goalkeeper, who can always shut his door down, and block every shot we create. So, if luck does not stand by your side, there is not so much you can do anyway. It seems that's all we can blame now, luck...

Wuhan (武汉) will face its 4th game this season, against Henan (河南) at home. I do hope they can be on the side with this luck thing.

Update: It looks like my unofficial pray did pay off, Wuhan won its first game of this new season, 2:0, nice job! Let's wait for its next victory.
