Last Thursday around 11.40PM, one of my sister called and said " Sister..please be strong and do not cry...I just want to let you know that our sister now is gone...” I felt like something just hit me in the head. At that moment, the feeling of loosing someone that I always love and care…by knowing that I am not going to see her again..It is just so hard and such empty feeling, which I never had experienced before.
Today is her cremation day; it is so hard for me that I cannot be there with my family. I helped my parent to babysitting her since she was born. Watching her growing up and graduated from the college.. it just likes yesterday. She‘s only 30-year-old, it is so sad not seeing her to get married and start her own family like the others.
My dearest sister, wherever you are, I love you and I will remember you…always.

In a California zoo, a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to pregnancy complications, the cubs were born prematurely and died shortly after birth.
Mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically fine. The vets felt that the loss of her litter had caused her to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if she could surrogate anothe r mother's cubs, perhaps she would improve.
After checking with many other zoos, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the tiger mother. The vets decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment.
Sometimes a mother of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only "orphans" that could be found quickly, were a litter of wiener pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets in tiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. The results . . .
Love is Love - no matter where its found
and its why we're all here.

You Are a Carnation
You are down to earth and grounded. |
You tend to be more traditional than trendy.
Your confidence gets you through anything.
People trust you and are very loyal to you.

I AM THANKFUL:
FOR THE WIFE
WHO SAYS IT'S HOT DOGS TONIGHT,
BECAUSE SHE IS HOME WITH ME,
AND NOT OUT WITH SOMEONE ELSE.
FOR THE HUSBAND
WHO IS ON THE SOFA
BEING A COUCH POTATO,
BECAUSE HE IS HOME WITH ME
AND NOT OUT AT THE BARS.
FOR THE TEENAGER
WHO IS COMPLAINING ABOUT DOING DISHES
BECAUSE IT MEANS SHE IS AT HOME,
NOT ON THE STREETS.
FOR THE TAXES I PAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM EMPLOYED.
FOR THE MESS TO CLEAN AFTER A PARTY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE
BEEN SURROUNDED BY FRIENDS.
FOR THE CLOTHES THAT FIT A LITTLE TOO SNUG
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT.
FOR MY SHADOW THAT WATCHES ME WORK
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM OUT IN THE SUNSHINE
FOR A LAWN THAT NEEDS MOWING,
WINDOWS THAT NEED CLEANING,
AND GUTTERS THAT NEED FIXING
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE A HOME.
FOR ALL THE COMPLAINING
I HEAR ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT
BECAUSE IT MEANS
WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH..
FOR THE PARKING SPOT
I FIND AT THE FAR END OF THE PARKING LOT
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM CAPABLE OF WALKING
AND I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH TRANSPORTATION.
FOR MY HUGE HEATING BILL
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I AM WARM.
FOR THE LADY BEHIND ME IN CHURCH
WHO SINGS OFF KEY BECAUSE IT MEANS
I CAN HEAR.
FOR THE PILE OF LAUNDRY AND IRONING
BECAUSE IT MEANS
I HAVE CLOTHES TO WEAR.
FOR WEARINESS AND ACHING MUSCLES
AT THE END OF THE DAY
BECAUSE IT MEANS I HAVE BEEN
CAPABLE OF WORKING HARD.
FOR THE ALARM THAT GOES OFF
IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS
BECAUSE IT MEANS I AM ALIVE.
Live well, Laugh often, & Love with all of your heart!

"Never give up, no matter what life may be facing. Remember, after the rain, the sun will come up and birds will sing again "

After received further news from my family regarding the condition of my younger sister, I decided last minutes to fly back to Thailand for visiting. The doctors said the cancer had spread and she might have a year to live. They still give her some treatment from growing plains and muscle weakness. They said only miracle and hope might help my sister. To see her in this condition, really break my heart but I kept smiling and joking with her about the old day(such huge supportive from our family, friends make her believe that she is going to recover).
Even though, it was just short visit and long flight back home, but it 's all worth it.

I received this message in the mail, and I would love to share this with you. Thank you for reading.
Sometimes we just need to be reminded!
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by
holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked,
"Who would like this $20 bill?"
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you
but first, let me do this.
He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?"
Still the hands were up in the air.
Well, he replied, "What if I do this?"
And he dropped it on the ground
and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.
He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty.
"Now, who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it
because it did not decrease in value.
It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives,
we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt
by the decisions we make and
the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless.
But no matter what has happened or
what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased,
you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you.
The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know,
but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE.
You are special - Don't EVER forget it."
Count your blessings, not your problems.
And remember: amateurs built the ark...
professionals built the Titanic.

It had been over 3 months now, since my half-younger sister is battling with cancer. She is 29 years old, non-smoker and not a drinker. When she was kid, she was the most precious in the family. I remember almost every morning, my dad and I, we went to the forest, collected the herpes (because at that time modern medicine, did not work for her besides it was too strong for her body).
Everything, back to normal and she seemed healthy when she started in high school and finished her BA. She got the job as a journalist in Bangkok. She worked there over 5 years. Her job required a lot of travels and long hour sometimes even on the weekend.
Finally, she had to quit because she started not to feel very well. Now, she is teaching history at technical school.
Until, the day after New Year day, she told our parent that she went to see a doctor and they ran some tests. They found something growing between her lungs and the doctor confirms it is cancer and she needs to have the operation ASAP.
Every time, when I spoke with my step mom on the phone, she always-in tear and I am still in shock from the news. Last week, I had a chance to talk with my half sister, she told me not to worry about her. She had made up her mind what is going to happen let it happen. I said, dear sister, how could you say not to worry about you? It makes me feel bad that I were not there to support and comfort you. I had to blame myself that did not tell you hard enough to do check up every year since when I always heard mom told me you kept getting sick while you were in Bangkok. We should know better that with bad pollution in the air of Bangkok that what would cause your illness getting worse and worse...
Dear sister, I heard medicine would up-set your stomach, but please listen to the doctors and do not miss the appointment. My love and pray always there with you, we need you to be around and hopefully one day to see you in the wedding ground and start of your own family. There is a lot beautiful things is waiting ahead of you. Many women are surviving from cancer and so can you.
My sister said, dear older sister, I will try but this medicine make my head hurt and spin so bad. I try not to show this pain to our mom, because she even more depress and sad to see me in this condition. I will flight and hope for the best to come. Please do not worry...dear older sister…..
