buffering the bytes

finally I have started using the mail client in Opera and I kind of like it. Even though I am still trying to figure out how to hide the spam mails from being showed in the Unread column !
Any suggestions on how to do that ?

spreading the word Arch Linux turns 10 :cheers

I have not received any spam so far up Does the spam messages also become noticed on MyOpera menu bar? If so, then it really is no good.

oh sorry, I meant the M2 Client (mail client) that comes in Opera.
I added Gmail to it but in the list of unread it also shows the new messages from the "Spam" box.

Well, you said it just alright bigsmile It is just so easy to confuse all these Opera mail products: browser mail client, Opera Web Mail and OperaMail.com lol

But to get back on topic... I really don't know how to do that. I have not found any use for Opera mail client because I'm online all the time. Therefore Web mail interfaces are enough for me.

thats the reason I gave M2 a try... I have this mail checking syndrome, every 10 mins I find myself logging into gmail to check if I have received any new e-mail and hence to avoid that trying out M2 cheers

That what makes Android phone so good wink I get the sound notice if mail received.

Although, the best solution I have seen is blinking LED light notice on some mobile phones up

Just google 'linux mail notifier', and you should find more.

yes
but one thing I like about the M2 client is that I don't need to login and stuff and Opera has a clean interface ... going to try M2 for a while before I give up p
