i have a personal domain/website (hurray)

, ,

For those of you who follow my blog, you can guess what the title means to me.
But for those of you who don't like wasting time in my boring blog but still are curious, here is a little backdrop:
Ever since I started blogging/ entered the web sphere I have been craving for my own personal space on the internet: my own domain + hosting where I can experiment new stuff.
As a part of my academic program I was asked to buy a Yahoo web hosting to do some packet sniffing stuff. I will get to how horrible Yahoo's web hosting is in a bit or wait I will rant about it another post * my mind whispering to me "it's not gonna happen" *.
As of now I haven't set anything up on the website but plan to do something real soon when I get some time.
CLICKME cheers

Hackpad

, , ,

Talk about old whine in new bottle.
Have you ever used Google's wave?
If you have, then explaining Hackpad to you won't be hard. Hackpad is a online notepad version of Google Wave.

You can create and edit a "pad". By default all the pads that you create would be private. If you wish to share it with your friends you will need to share the link to your friends. Any with the link can edit your document ("pad").

One of the really interesting feature is Table of contents which gets created on the go as soon as you create a bold line.
