About me

I'm 50 but not old. Just got my 1st tattoo in Vegas last June when my husband and I went to celebrate our 28th anniversary and my 50th B-day. Love 80's rock, jazz & blues. Had to grow up but don't want to grow old. Have a 27 yr old daughter, 24 yr old son...no grandchildren, darn it.
Live in Kansas...not much to do here but watch tv and wheat grow unless you like to play golf...I don't. Moved here when I married my old man. Test of true love as I lived in California. Yeah, daughter visited California, came home and smacked her dad for moving me back here. Told him she would have rather been born out there then back here....me too. ;0)

My work

I work in a convent. Yup, heard right. 90 Nuns between the ages of 50 (only about 3 of them) and 94. This is their retirement center and it has a health care facility in it and I am the secretary, unit clerk, office manager, assistant to the Director of Nursing, etc. all rolled into one. It's even more interesting at times since I am not Catholic. Been there 6 years now and have learned a lot about Nuns. Catholic religion concering clergy and then everyone else is different so it is an eye opener at times but it is a good place to work.
