Wii Delima

So I've had my Wii for many months now. I bought it because I just love super mario & most of their spin off titles are fun like Smash Bros. Brawl etc. The only other game I really want to play but haven't got yet is Twilight Princess (Zelda)...
As for Tomb Raider Underworld I bought it JUST BEFORE I got the score from gamespot.com
I always wait to see the rating because gamespot is always right... but this time I said there is now way they can mess up a good series like this for a new console... boy was I wrong. The games was hard to control... & by the time you get use to it, it ends. It lacked that epic feeling that past versions brought. I felt like I stopped half way through the game.
most of Wii's other titles just don't appeal to me. I still bought it though because I said there are a ton of old school games I can download on the virtual console! Like Mega Man! etc.
......turns out living in a small country like Trinidad again comes up to bite me in the a**. While trying to connect to the network I see an error message saying I cannot connect to the online network because the service is not available in my country. Of course Nintendo may say they are not here YET but you & I both know they will never reach here (just like Apple & the iPhone)
In fact I can't even play online with friends – I tried it with Super Smash Brows. but while I'm waiting in the room for a player to come no one shows up so I go back offline.
Half of my reason for buying the Wii was the large collection of past games I could play & the online capabilities... now I got nothing. I like games like Ratchet & Clank, Final Fantasy & Burnout Paradise which are all for PS3 ....but PS3's price is really ridiculous & I said I'm not doing that until they reduce it.
Makes me wonder now if I should ditch the Wii & put it towards a PS3? However that's not as simple as it sounds as Sony is in real trouble right now & I wonder if the PS3 will really make it. Makes no sense to invest in a dying console right? Makes no sense to use a half dead one either. (due to my location) ....& don't even mention XBOX 360. Shooting up aliens or playing in the NFL is not my idea of fun. That's all XBOX is good for... no diversity there.
