SO DON"T THINK IT!! ...anyway I loved it since my sis played my father's record for me many years ago (I remember that time well ) Karen's voice is so smooth. & have you EVER seen a girl sing & play drums at the same time! talk about skills! ...hmmm so sad she lost her battle with Anorexia Nervosa... She will be remembered
Some people wonder if I'm really Trini after all I don't like Calypso (our local music), heaven forbid I eat a Mango , & Soca (another local genre) is only so-so in my book. However there are some really good Soca tunes that come out - & I don't care WHO you are you have to turn your head & take notice. "Machel Montano HD" lead the pack with their energetic & somewhat whimsical brand of Soca His star power has even afforded him contact with international names like Beenie Man (of Jamaica), Shaggy, Wyclef Jean, G-Unit, Mr. Vegas, Doug E Fresh & others. He has recorded with all of the above. Being very consistent in quality, everyone looks forward to his offerings for the Carnival season. Enjoy the madness.
