So Friday I met with my friend Steph & he decided we should calculate our B.M.I. (Body Mass Index) at the local drug store.
You can calculate yours here.
A B.M.I reading of 20 to 25 is considered ‘ideal’. Under 20 would be considered Underweight & over 25 is Overweight.
I weigh 136 lbs & I’m 6 feet tall.
My B.M.I. is 18.4 …so after seeing my readout Steph tells me… “You’re underweight” ..& I was like... “I knew that”
Anyway for my height, the machine says my 'ideal weight' is between 147.6lbs - 184.5lbs. Who knows if I'll ever reach that? but you know me... I'm not one to complain.
On a related note.. I feel hungry. Hmph… figures.
(This simple test doesn't take muscle mass or bone density into account. muscular athletes & Furie beware)

There aren't any that are simple. But it's worth putting the warning up because, as you said, this is a family blog meaning it's open to everyone including those who are at risk of eating disorders.

I've put on a bit of muscle since the BMI topic last came up, I've got 95.3KGs (210lbs) on my 5ft 10 frame now.
Making my BMI 30.1, so according to BMI I'm OBESE!!!
I still look thin oddly. Mind you, you see it on in-shape wrestlers all the time, they don't tend to look all that muscular with clothes on, but when the in-ring speedos come into play, it's quite a different story!
Damn stupid BMI!! Saying I'm fat when I'm not, someone should ban it!

So how old are you then?
I always thought you'd be taller for some reason, at least average (5ft 6). I guess it might explain why you come off as small. At least you're not one of those annoying LITTLE women (like Esty) who act a lot bigger than they actually are. Though granted, it can be a turn on... sometimes! But most of all, they're annoying!
